Our therapists are expertly trained to understand body mechanics and how muscles pain and spasm are related to specific points and insertions. They understand of deep tissue work is appropriate and just at the right pressure. In hydrotherapy, energetic principles of water combined with water temperature and natural products of seaweed, herbs and essential oils are our most powerful tools to support our beliefs of natural healing. Massage Reduces Stress

Techniques used by our therapist include Swedish, Deep Tissue and/or Trigger Point.  Each session can be one or the other or a combination of all three. Swedish Massage is long, gliding strokes. This massage is used for relaxation, boosting circulation and a feeling of well-being.

Deep Tissue Massage is similar to Swedish, however, the depth of each stroke is much deeper, penetrating the painful muscle tissue with kneading and pressure for relief of deep muscle pain. Therapists may use knuckles, forearms and/or elbows as needed to increase the depth of massage for the needed relief of pain.

Trigger Point Massage is a type of pain reducing massage therapy which examines and treats muscles and muscle attachments in layers. It addresses surface muscles and connective tissues and deeper ligaments and connective tissues. It is closely aligned with the eastern technique of acupressure massage.

Our unique massage services include:
Radiant Stone utilizing river and basalt stones to impart the healing energy of moist heat. Very soothing, relaxing and therapeutic.

Thai Yogic Massage is body movement by the therapist (while you are fully clothed) which stretches the body and tones the organs. You might think of it as Yoga done to you.

Cranial-Sacral is a gentle, non-invasive touch technique involving the bones of the skull, face and mouth and extends by a system of hydraulics and membranes to the lower end of the spine (or sacrum). This technique corrects imbalances in the cranio-sacral system and restores health.

Couples Massage is great for newly weds and couples desiring to share the experience together. You may choose the amount of time and the type of massage you want.

Spa Lymph Drainage is a full body and facial massage which targets the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system not only serves to clean the tissues through drainage, but is also a protection and defense mechanism which filters toxins (and waste matter) out of the blood and carries vital nutrients back to the blood stream.  The lymphatic system maintains the fluid balance of your internal body.

Four Hands Massage is the most indulgent of all professional massage services. Two therapists working in tandem pass over the body with a synchronized pattern of fluid movements. Two pairs of hands and a choreographed, dance-like massage; each movement mirrored on the opposite side. (One weeks notice required for scheduling purposes.)

Professional and perfect pressure for YOU. Draping is appropriate in all body treatments and massage. Please speak frankly with your therapist if you have any modesty concerns.

Additional benefit is gained from the use of special oils to nourish the hair roots. Our Champissage is massage only - no oil. Our Shiro Byhanga includes oil & shampoo.
